Old town

We set off from the main railway station. Passing by the statue of Alfred Escher, we stroll down lower Bahnhofstrasse before climbing up the Lindenhof. What a luxury, to have this terrace with its lime trees right at the heart of the old town. We enjoy the view across to Niederdorf, the ETH and the university. We now head down to the Limmat, once the lifeline of the mediaeval city. Crossing over the Rathausbrücke, we arrive on the right side of the river. Here, we are awaited by Neumarkt and Spiegelgasse. We say our goodbyes up at the Grossmünster and Fraumünster churches. Group sizes: 2-20. Tour Price: 250.00
